National shooter Şimal Yılmaz, who came second in Europe, received a quota for Paris 2024



National athlete Şimal Yılmaz, who won the silver medal at the Air Weapons European Championship in Hungary, gained the right to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics.


According to the statement made by the Turkish Shooting and Hunting Federation, Şimal Yılmaz, who competed in the 10-meter air pistol women’s category in the organization held in Györ, ranked 6th with 572 points and entered the final competition.


The national shooter, who scored 237.4 points in the final, won the silver medal and also obtained the Paris 2024 quota.


On the other hand, another national athlete, Şevval İlayda Tarhan, competing in the same category, completed the competition by ranking 19th with 568 points.
