National soccer player David Raum apparently injured his ankle while on vacation.

The left-back from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig buckled according to BILD information in recreational football in the Maldives.

After returning from vacation shortly before Christmas, the 24-year-old was examined several times, and the medical department ordered “absolute rest” for Raum’s foot.

According to the report, it is not yet clear whether the 15-time DFB player will be able to travel to the training camp in Abu Dhabi (January 2 to 11) with the Saxons.
