National soccer player Sara Däbritz leaves Paris Saint Germain and changes within the French League 1 to Champions League winners Olympique Lyon.
Däbritz: “Happy and proud”
Däbritz will receive a three-year contract until June 30, 2025, as the club announced. “I am happy and proud to be part of this great club!”, wrote the 27-year-old on Instagram.
Däbritz, Olympic champion in 2016 and European champion in 2013, moved from FC Bayern Munich to Paris in 2019. In 2021 she caught up PSG the championship title. This year Lyon was too strong and won superiorly. But at least Däbritz and her team won the cup. In the semi-finals of the premier class, PSG failed with Däbritz at Lyon.
