National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu evaluated his first test with BMW in Portugal:

National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu started his preparations for the 2024 World Superbike Championship in Portugal with his new team Rokit BMW.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Motorcycle Federation, 2021 World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who had the opportunity to try the BMW M 1000 RR in Portugal before the season, stated that he was very pleased with the first test and talked about the power, braking, turning and feeling of the engine.

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, who was originally planned to make the first drive today, but the test was brought forward one day due to unpredictable weather conditions, said:

“Finally I went to the first test with BMW, it was very positive. I like hard braking, but the engine braking worked very well. Within the team, everyone is very nice and wants to help. That’s why I’m very happy. We finished the first day with only 11 laps, but we had a feeling. It was important for me. The first ride was very nice and positive. I am very happy that I improved with each lap and learned the style of the bike. I need my own style, but I feel better now in the slow corners. I felt incredible power at the exit of the last corner and I was still going on the hill. I was getting better with each lap. “And I was understanding the traction of the bike. The throttle connection is much better. I’m very happy and we have a lot of parts to try.”

National athlete Toprak Razgatlıoğlu will continue his preparations for the 2024 season at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Track on December 5-6.
