Toprak had managed to win his first race of the year by placing first at the Donington Park Circuit yesterday. In the race, Ducati driver Spaniard Alvaro Bautista came second and Kawasaki driver Jonathan Rea of Great Britain came third.
On the other hand, Can Öncü competing on behalf of the Kawasaki Puccetti team ranked 8th in the second race in the English leg of the World Supersport Championship, while Bahattin Sofuoğlu, the driver of the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team, could not complete the race.
In the competition, Swiss Dominique Aegerter, a Yamaha driver, took the first place, Italian Lorenzo Baldassarri, another Yamaha driver, and Italian Ducati driver Nicolo Bulega took the third place.
