Faith Kipyegon sees mission on miles fail

IOC wants to lead discussion about gender criteria
6.03 pm: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will lead the discussions about gender criteria for participating in sport. That is what the new chairman Kirsty Coventry said in Lausanne on Thursday. She made this ruling four years after the administrative body encouraged the sports associations to assess issues themselves independently.
Coventry, who this week after the ceremony in Lausanne as the first woman and first African officially took over the chairmanship from Thomas Bach, said she now wants the IOC to “protect the female category”. She announced the establishment of a working group that will lead these discussions and another to evaluate the election process for future Olympic guest cities.
For a long time, the IOC has been refusing to apply universal rules to the participation of transgender people in the Games and instructed international federations to develop their own guidelines in 2021.
National coach Doudesis selects fifteen water polosters for World Cup

No public go ahead Eagles in season opener at Fortuna

David Gaudu reverses Tour de France
