Nathalie (44): ‘When our youngest son had leukemia, his brother grew up in one fell swoop’

When Jason (13), the son of Nathalie Krul (44), gets leukemia three years ago, the life of the family is dominated by his illness and the accompanying treatments. His then 15-year-old brother Ryan suddenly has to solve a lot himself and grows up in one fell swoop. Today, on World Children’s Cancer Day, the KiKa Foundation focuses on these so -called glass children; Brothers and sisters of children with cancer. Nathalie: “As a family, we were pulled apart for months during that period.”
