Natacha Harlequin gets kicked out: ‘Just shut up!’

Natacha Harlequin gets a big blow from Marcus den Blanken, media journalist for the AD. “Then sit somewhere else, but don’t collect your money from Shownieuws!”

For a long time it was Ronald Molendijk who outsider played at Shownieuws, but Natacha Harlequin is now taking on that role. She constantly shouts that she knows so little about showbiz, but in the meantime she has been chatting about it for a year and a half. She even aired her opinion about the slip of Måneskin singer Damiano David last weekend.

Natacha was also in the Shownieuws broadcast last week in which Waylon’s cheating was discussed. She says she is not surprised at all about being an outdoor woman, because she is not used to anything different from home. “My father also had extramarital affairs,” said the criminal lawyer.

A program like Shownieuws should not talk about Waylon cheating at all, Natacha thinks. “Isn’t this really just a private thing between Waylon and Bibi?”

“Shut up then!”

AD media journalist Marcus den Blanken finds it laughable that Natacha asks this question. “Natacha Harlequin started off like, ‘Should we be talking about Waylon?’ Then I think: you’re in Shownieuws! And you don’t get this? What are you doing there then? Then sit somewhere else, but don’t go and collect your money from Shownieuws!”, he shouts in the AD Media podcast

If Natacha detests this kind of subject, then she shouldn’t be lining her pockets with it, Marcus thinks. “If you look down on those kinds of topics, you shouldn’t sit on that program for a crime topic. Then you just have to keep your mouth shut, that’s fine too.”

“Vivienne does that too!”

RTL Boulevard presenter Vivienne van den Assem is also such a type, notes colleague Angela de Jong. She points to Vivienne’s condescending statements about Yvonne Coldeweijer. According to the Vivienne-like, her working method is very doubtful. But what do Yvonne’s firsts always do in the broadcasts of RTL Boulevard?

Angela: “There’s enormous hypocrisy in that, because the moment those juice channels bring it, they’re going to bring it too. (…) I always find that quite hypocritical.”
