Natacha Harlequin finds platform Eva Jinek really sleep-inducing

Natacha Harlequin finds the platform that Eva Jinek has ‘built up’ at RTL really sleep-inducing. “I kept an eye on that, but it wasn’t much.”

It is always very amusing when TV stars choose to get down to business with a commercial party, as Eva Jinek did four years ago. There is of course not much difference between making a talk show on one channel or the other, so to hide the fact that they opt hard for the money, they come up with all kinds of excuses.

Stair railing

For that reason, Eva called out that RTL would give her the opportunity to develop her own ‘platform’. That platform consists of the website evajinek.nl – the start page currently still contains the cringe-inducing videos that Eva recorded two years ago with Tim Hofman’s girlfriend – and a newsletter that she occasionally sends out.

So that whole platform hardly amounts to anything. At one point, Eva even started chatting in space about having compulsive thoughts about her banister.

Natacha lashes out

Natacha Harlequin has followed it with a slanted eye and does not think that Eva’s platform should be taken seriously. “Well, I kept an eye on that, but I didn’t like it very much. That platform. I just didn’t understand – and that could be just me – which way she wanted to go with that whole platform,” she says Show news.

That platform did not have a clear format, says Natacha. “Was it more about leadership or about women and feminism? Because that’s what it was at one point. And then it went back to cooking. I was completely lost.”

‘Member? No!’

Eva failed to bind Natacha as a follower to her ‘platform’. “But were you a member?” asks colleague Bart Ettekoven.

Natacha then: “Well, I saw it sometimes on Insta. So I wasn’t a member, because I didn’t understand what I had to join. What I hope to see, and what I think she’s really good at, is just tough interviewing. That.”

‘costed a lot of money’

According to colleague Iris van Lunenburg, there really was a whole team on that platform. “There was an editor-in-chief and other young journalists involved.”

Bart is surprised. “That cost me a lot of money and I wonder what that has yielded.”

Iris: “Yes, that’s a good question.”
