Entertainment, close competition thanks to the very close performances of the cars and twists and turns are the DNA of the Nascar championship, beloved in America, followed all over the world. A tradition that has been renewed since 1949: another era, another “world”, the same popular passion for motorsport. The new season of the series reserved for stock cars gets underway. A 2022 championship that starts from the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles on Sunday 6 February (midnight in Italy), a race-event not valid for the purposes of the final classification. Theater of the challenge is the stadium that will host the 2028 Olympics, paved for the occasion and transformed into a basin for the new seventh generation cars, also developed in collaboration with Dallara. The Next Gen of the Nascar Cup Series, the absolute reference of the championship, will see three manufacturers on the track: Chevrolet, Toyota and Ford. The calendar includes 29 “regular” season races (three events, including the one at the Coliseum, do not award points), then 10 events included in the playoffs that will decide the winner during the last act in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 6.
