Nas and the Wu-Tang Clan will go on a world tour together in 2023. The “NY State of Mind Tour” is the continuation of a concert series of the same name that took place exclusively in the USA in 2022. Between May 9th and October 22nd, 2023, the hip-hop icons will play a total of 32 shows in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and North America. On June 5th they will come to Germany for an appointment – to the Parkbühne Wuhlheide in Berlin. They can also be seen in seven other European cities between June 2nd and 13th. The aftermovie provides an introduction to the first half of the tour.
Advance ticket sales via Live Nation will officially start on March 3, 2023. However, there will be staggered presales by MagentaMusik (March 1) and Ticketmaster (March 2) before that.
In November 2022, the third record of the “King’s Disease2” series launched by Nas in 2020 was released. KING’S DISEASE III is his 16th studio album overall. The Wu-Tang Clan released their last album of new material in 2015. However, ONCE UPON A TIME IN SHAOLIN was limited to a one-track edition. The group’s most recent generally available full-length is their 2014 release A BETTER TOMORROW.
