Nance Coolen is very pissed off at Evert Sanwaarden because he downplays her musical success. She was in some band decades ago and the presenter wants recognition for that.

In general, Nance is pretty sober for a celebrity, she says in the podcast The Broadcast† “I don’t think there are a lot of disadvantages to it, but I don’t think there are very many advantages either. You just are and you can make it as important as you want. We see that every day, that there are people who find that very important.”

Angry at Evert

Nance does not understand those celebrities who make themselves so important, she continues. “I am the Brabo who thinks: oh well, nice, fine. I am sober about that.”

Unless, then, Private boss Evert Sankrediets trivializes her. “There was once someone who… By the way, someone, that was just Evert Sanwaarden. And he talked about: ‘Yes, that Nance was once in a band, Twenty 4 Seven.’ Yes, then I have been stepped on my cock and then I am arrogant.”

‘What the heck?’

That is just disrespectful of Evert, says Nance. “Then I think: yes, tape? Hey. We’ve sold 18 million records. Why band? I do have that balance, of: I don’t think it’s fair if it’s called that.”

Then laughing: “Evert, take back your words!”
