The move from national soccer player Nadiem Amiri to the Italian first division club FC Genoa is imminent.
The midfielder from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen posted a picture of his trip to Italy on Instagram on Friday and is scheduled to undergo the medical check on Saturday. This means that Amiri could be available to German coach Alexander Blessin as early as Monday in Serie A against AS Roma.
According to the Italian media, the 25-year-old Amiri will initially be loaned out, with a subsequent purchase option for Genoa. Blessin was hired by the Ligurian first division team last week.
