Nadal in Roland Garros final against Ruud
Rafael Nadal will play in the final of Roland Garros against Norwegian Casper Ruud on Sunday afternoon. The Spaniard, who has already won the tournament thirteen times, saw his opponent give up Alexander Zverev in the semifinals. The German suffered a serious ankle injury and has been out of circulation for a long time.
Ruud defeated the Croat Marin Cilic in the semi-final on the clay in Paris. For the 23-year-old Norwegian, it is the first final of a grand slam tournament. He eliminated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas at Roland Garros, last year’s finalist.
