NAC started the game furiously and soon a collision followed between striker Sydney van Hooijdonk and Feyenoord keeper Timon Wellenreuther. Moments later, Elías Már ómarsson worked the ball up close. Major role for the VAR
The video referee played an important role in Breda. Arbiter Dennis Higler gave NAC a penalty after an hour, after an alleged violation of Jakub Moder on Maxime Busi. The Var intervened and after viewing the images it turned out not to be a penalty, because outside, and not even a violation.
After the break, the ball was mainly found in half of NAC, but the home team occasionally came out dangerous.
