Mysterious letter discovers in Ghent hotel wall: “Who was A. Robberecht and why did he promise 20 francs?”

Who was A. Robberecht who sent a note on March 7, 1933? And why was that note, folded in a small box, built into the wall of what is today the Posthotel on the Korenmarkt? Damien Brunin, general manager of the hotel, is looking for answers. “We offer a free overnight stay to the descendants of the letter writer.”
