Myron Boadu speaks for itself and makes a crucial goal in Monaco victory | Foreign football

Partly due to a goal by Myron Boadu, Monaco has won 2-3 in the French league at Stade Rennes. The former AZ player took care of Monaco’s third goal.

Boadu was brought on in the 72nd minute by coach Philippe Clement. The single Orange-international was in the right place five minutes later to slide in a cross from Vanderson.

Flavien Tait had given the home team the lead in the opening phase. Vanderson scored the equalizer and then Wissam Ben Yedder made it 1-2. After Boadu’s goal, Martin Terrier made it 2-3 from a penalty kick.

No fixed value

Boadu came over from AZ last summer, but he has so far failed to secure a permanent base in the south of France. The 21-year-old attacker does not seem to be in the picture with the Dutch team of national coach Louis van Gaal.

Monaco is now 3 points behind Rennes, the number 3 in the ranking. Paris Saint-Germain is the unapproachable frontrunner in France.
