During the management report of the Chief of Staff in the Chamber of Deputies, the Left Front deputy Myriam Bregman starred in one of the most spicy moments of the day with a battery of criticism that included a nickname as unexpected as it was accurate for Manuel Adorni.
“Do you know what people call you? Aloe vera, because every day they discover more properties”Bregman launched from the stand, in an irony that alluded to the multiplication of scandals surrounding the official, judicially investigated for the purchase of apartments and trips abroad.
But the PTS leader did not stop there. He also pointed out against what he considered a boastful attitude on the part of the Chief of Staff: “If you’re so cocky, why did you have to come with Milei to jump over the grenade?”he called it out, in reference to the presence of the President in the box to support his official, a sign of support that, for the left, only showed Adorni’s weakness.
The deputy also accused him of “come here to bore us with your lies” and he asked him a question that sought to expose a contradiction in his lifestyle: “How is it possible that you earn in pesos but spend in dollars? How can it be that the caste is afraid and you travel on private planes?”
Bregman’s intervention was one of the most resonant of a session that combined political tension, opposition posters and, as is customary every time there is a management report at stake, an opposition determined not to leave the Government even an inch of air.
