It has been quite quiet around Patricia Paay for quite some time. She has been struggling with her health for quite some time and people fear that it will deteriorate more rapidly. Now she is giving a sign of life…
Private boss Evert Santegoeds expressed his concerns about Patricia Paay last month. Normally the two maintain quite a bit of contact, but lately it has been quiet. Very quiet. “I think she also has moments every now and then when she thinks: gosh, what has become of my life, it’s a bit lonely.”
‘Every day counts!’
Today, on her 77th birthday, Patricia gives a sign of life. She seems to have resigned herself to the fact that her body will never be completely right again. “Today I turned 77 years old… Quite an age if you ask me. They say that wisdom comes with age, and I’m starting to notice that 😉,” she says on Instagram.
She continues: “My life has entered calmer waters and that makes me enjoy the small, but oh so valuable moments even more. Every day counts, I know that!”
Pregnant daughter
What makes Patricia happy these days? “What I enjoy most right now is that my beautiful daughter is pregnant. My daughter is just going to be a mom. My first grandchild is on the way and I can hardly describe how much love I already feel for this little miracle.”
She continues: “I’m so curious and I can’t wait until I can hold him or her in my arms. 🤍”
Health
Then Patricia gives a glimpse of her health. “Because my health does not always cooperate, I realize even more how important it is to celebrate life.”
