MVV requests images in research into racist expressions | 1Limburg

Football club MVV Maastricht has requested images from ESPN together with the KNVB. The security images of FC Dordrecht can also help in the investigation into the racist treatment in the match against FC Dordrecht.

The Maastricht club indicates that new investigative methods are used to round up the evidence.

Stadium ban
Last Friday, the match was stopped after Dordrecht player Seydine N’Diaye was racially treated by a few visitors from the MVV section. Two ‘supporters’ who traveled along have already received a stadium ban from the Maastricht club.

Supporters association
MVV emphasizes that this is not about regular supporters, but a new group of young MVV followers. The supporter platforms SV1902 and the Angel-Side strongly distance themselves from the events.

Stripped
General manager Erik Noor would have liked to speak to the affected player Seydine N’Diaye. But FC Dordrecht has let it be known that N’Diaye is so upset by the incident that he needs a rest and has flown back to his family in France.
