With an investment of 2.5 million euros, three new classes are added, on top of the nine existing. The municipality was able to purchase an adjacent house to make the expansion possible. This restructuring is part of a broader reform in Anzegem, where since 2020 the schools in Vichte have been completely free education and which remained municipal education in Ingooigem and the Engelhoek.
Originally the Chiro would be housed in the new building of the school, but the purchase of a building in Stijn Streuvelstraat will have its own place there. The investment not only ensures modern classrooms, but also contributes to a sustainable and future -oriented infrastructure for both students and the community.
