On Friday evening (November 11) in the run-up to this year’s MTV EMA 2022, the winner of the Best German Act was announced. Badmómzjay receives the award for the second time in a row, which was presented at the award ceremony in the Düsseldorf night residence. Kontra K, Leony, Nina Chuba and Giant Rooks were also nominated.
MTV EMA 2022: The voting of the fans has decided
At the MTV EMA 2022, it all depends on how the fans decide. Until recently, they could vote for their favorite acts. This shows that the rap artist was able to count on the support of the fan community again this year. Last year, Badmómzjay was named the winner in the Best German Act category.
And with good reason: With her debut album BADMÓMZ she entered the top ten in 2021. She was also the first rap artist to appear on the cover of German Vogue. And also the new songs “Survival Mode (Intro)” and “No Tears” show that Badmómzjay is defending her status in the music business.

The MTV EMAs will be streamed live on MTV in more than 170 countries on Sunday, November 13th. In Germany, the award show can be seen on Pluto TV and Comedy Central. The pre-show starts at 8 p.m., the actual show at 9 p.m.
