The MSV Duisburg continues to ride on a wave of success. Even in the sixth season game, the climber remained without loss of dot – and thus ensured a start record in the 3rd division. With now 18 points from six games, Duisburg is already five points in front of the first pursuer at the top of the table.
At 1. FC Schweinfurt, the MSV prevailed 3-0 (1-0) on Tuesday evening. Rasim Bulić put the guests in the lead in the 15th minute, Tobias Fleckstein increased after just over an hour (61st minute). Can Coskun produced the final score around a quarter of an hour before the end (74th).
After the game, Fleckstein spoke of “madness from the Wedau” after the game and was grateful for the support of the fans. That is “just nice”. The 1. FC Saarbrücken temporarily pushed itself in second place behind the MSV. The Saarlanders defeated the SSV Ulm 3: 1 (1: 0). Florian Flick scored twice (5th, 68th).
