As expected, Fenerbahce has confirmed Domenico Tedesco as the new head coach after the separation from José Mourinho. The 39 -year -old Italian receives a two -year contract in Istanbul. Gökhan Gönül will act as an assistant.
For Tedesco it is the first stop in Turkey, as a coach of Spartak Moscow (Russia) and as a national coach of Belgium, he has already gained several experience outside of Germany. The Italian had been without a club since January after he had to take his hat off in Belgium after 24 games and a point cut of 1.75.
