The driver of a car has been arrested after a collision in Oostrum. He drove through the gate of the coronatestraat.
It is unknown whether the man was injured. He refused help from paramedics, according to a correspondent. Because he did not want to cooperate with an alcohol check, he was taken to the police station.
Fence
The man was driving from Venray in the direction of Oostrum when he missed a bend, shot straight ahead, drove over a bicycle path and eventually rammed into the fence. That happened around 9:45 p.m. on Thursday evening.
The car ended up on the other side of the fence around the corona test street. It is not clear whether the man was possibly after that.
