A motorist left the road this morning on Griendtsveenstraat near Erica. The front of the car ended up in the Dommerskanaal.
The driver was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. There were no other people known to be in the car. According to a bystander, it is slippery on the cobbled road.
A recovery company has been called to remove the car from the water.
