A cycling couple was injured this afternoon in a collision on the Weerdingerkanaal Noordzijde in Nieuw-Weerdinge. A car could not avoid the pair.
The woman was hit and fell on the street. The man finished on the hood of the car. Both were checked in an ambulance, the woman had to go to the hospital. The police are investigating the accident.
