A motorist was injured at the end of the morning in an accident on the Hoofdstraat in Gasselternijveen. The car ended up next to the road, after which the driver hit a tree and came to a halt against a pile of stones.
“We just have a new driveway, these stones were left. They were still in the package,” says the resident about the pile of stones in the roadside. “But yes, you can replace stones, not a person.”
The accident happened in the direction of Gieterveen. The motorist was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The car suffered considerable damage and was removed by a recovery company.
