A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a passenger car on the Nijbracht in Emmen. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Employees of the adjacent fire station provided first aid to the motorcyclist. It is not clear exactly how the accident happened.
The driver of the passenger car escaped unhurt.
