A motorcyclist died on Saturday on the “Spreewaldring” race track in the municipality of Schönwald (Dahme-Spreewald).
According to the police, the 48-year-old lost control of his motorcycle in the area of a curve and collided with a guardrail. He succumbed to his serious injuries on the spot.
According to the information, the man was alone with his machine on the racetrack. The track is also used for go-kart racing. Investigations into the cause of death are ongoing.
