The accident happened shortly after noon, around midnight. The motorcyclist entered the intersection in question and most likely slipped on something. As a result, he lost control of his vehicle and drove into a tree. Unfortunately, he did not survive the heavy fall that followed. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but resuscitation was unsuccessful.
The exact circumstances of the accident are still under investigation, but no one else was involved. The intersection was closed to through traffic for a time and a tent was erected to secure the scene of the accident.
