In Hoogeveen an engine was on fire this afternoon. The vehicle was swallowed by the flames, resulting in large black clouds of smoke at the Wielewaal shopping center.
The engine was in a parking lot at an apartment complex on Sperwerlaan. The fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire, it is not clear whether parked cars were damaged by the fire. A technical problem is probably the cause of the fire.
