Calvary started even before the start of the season: the world champion skipped most of the tests due to a fall during the first day of rehearsals. Then the accident in training and the operation to the left hand for the complex fracture of the radio, of some carpal bones and the omilateral football fracture. Martin returned to the track in the Qatar Grand Prix and was immediately the protagonist of an accident, in which he reported a pneumothorax and 11 fractures.
