After the Sprint victory in Valencia, Jorge Martin moved to -14 behind Pecco Bagnaia in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship standings. Only one event remains at the end of the championship, the Valencian Community GP which will again take place on the Ricardo Tormo circuit on Sunday 26 November . 11 points are enough for Bagnaia to be champion, regardless of Martin’s result: because, in the event of an equal points finish, Bagnaia would be world champion for the second time in a row by virtue of the greater number of GPs won (currently 6-4 for Sin on Jorge).
