With sun and dry asphalt the British driver of the Aspar team sets the time of 1: 35.897 ahead of a good Celestino Vietti, trailing by 0.431 with his Kalex of the VR46 team: an encouraging confirmation for the winner of the Qatar race. Third time for Sam Lowes, at +0.594, also slipped at the end of the session, and fourth Pedro Acosta (+0.632), under investigation, however, for a high side at turn 2 with yellow flags displayed.
