Mother of Kayleigh (14) who died in an accident cannot mourn without justice: “I know who is responsible for the death of my daughter”

“My daughter’s death is an open wound.” Kayleigh’s mother from Aalst is going to the Court of Cassation, the highest court in Belgium, more than five years after the traffic accident in which her then fourteen-year-old daughter died. The court has already ruled twice that there is too much doubt about who drove the car that night. “I want the truth to come out and the right perpetrator to be punished.”
