The two children thought their mother was dead. She was lying on the ground in a bicycle tunnel on the Rielerweg in Deventer, at the end of April last year, after she was hit by a man on a speed-up moped. The woman suffered permanent brain damage. “I feel guilty about this,” said the person who caused the accident in court.
