Mother and 1-year-old child to hospital with smoke inhalation after a fire from Havrelei in Antwerp

This morning a heavy fire raged at a car workshop in the Van Havrelei in Antwerp. Above the workshop there are two apartments that are also affected. A mother and her 1-year-old child were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. “A 34-year-old man was also taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation,” says Jasmien O., spokeswoman for the fire brigade.
