In a text that 64-year-old Baldwin shares with a photo of his mother, he writes that she was “a fighter” after she survived breast cancer. After Carol was cleared of breast cancer, she dedicated herself to raising money for charities that help women with breast cancer. ‘She has devoted a lot of energy to this in the last 25 years of her life. We are all very proud of her,” said her son.
Alexander Baldwin, the actor’s father, died in 1983 at the age of 55.
