According to Kevin Schumacher, VfL Osnabrück has committed another player for the left defensive side. Frederik Christensen is loaned for a season by the Swedish first division team IF Brommapojkarna. In the 3rd league, the 23 -year -old Dane meets his brother Gustav Christensen, who is under contract with FC Ingolstadt.
“Frederik Christensen has a very exciting profile. With his dynamics, he can play the defensive position in different systems as well as a more offensive role on the left. With him as a further left foot, we increase our flexibility and competition within the team. Frederik comes to us from the current season, so he is fully in the juice,” said Osnabrück’s Joe Enoch.
Christensen comes to Osnabrück with the experience of 32 games (2 goals, 5 templates) in the Allsvenskan. With a market value of 500,000 euros, it is now the most valuable player in the VfL squad 2025/26. “I really wanted to take the chance and take the step to Germany. I dealt intensively with VfL, it is the perfect location for me. A real traditional club with a strong fan base and an emotional stadium, I’m really excited about it.”
