Kingsley Schindler, former professional from Holstein Kiel, Hannover 96 and 1. FC Köln, has found a new club just over three months after his contract with Turkish first division club Samsunspor ended. The 32-year-old winger is moving to Buriram United in the Thai League and, according to the club’s announcement, wants to recommend himself for the Ghanaian squad at the 2026 World Cup.

For the team, which also competes in the AFC Champions League, he will meet other players known from Germany and Austria: Robert Bauer (30) signed with Buriram at the beginning of July, and ex-Lion Filip Stojkovic (32) and Robert Zulj (33) as well as his brother Peter (32) are also active there.
