The charts from January 3 to 30: Moses Pelham probably found the right ones with “Last words” in terms of mass compatibility. His album went into first place in the official German vinyl charts.
After numerous albums, concerts and awards, the hip-hop veteran ends his career at the top. Taylor Swift, who previously held the top position with “The Tortured Poets Department”, is now only in eighth place.
Who is still in front?
The album “Balloonerism”, which Mac Miller posthumously raises second place, is also new to the vinyl charts. With which two rappers form the tip.
Fourth place goes to the Deutschrock trio Heisskalt with his album “Von doing and let”. Behind it follows in fifth place the metal band hematom with “for you” and the punk band turbo state immediately afterwards with “old anger”. The British producer Fred Again .., who was awarded two Grammys last year, lands in seventh place with “Ten Days”.
Who is still represented?
There are other artists from the previous month in the charts. Linkin Park remains in third place with “From Zero”. With “Songs of a Lost World”, The Cure slips down to ninth place. Billie Eilish, with “Hit Me Hard and Soft”, makes room for eleven places. That is why she is far from being out, because instead of fourth she is now in 13th place. All albums under her have been added. Among them: “The White Album” by The Butcher Sisters and Wardruna with “Birma”.
A look at the label
