Morocco wants to vaccinate street dogs en masse, but concerns about cruel killings remain

Despite Morocco investing tens of millions in vaccinating and neutering street dogs, half a million stray dogs a year are at risk of being brutally murdered if the country continues its ‘street cleaning’, animal rights organizations warn. In addition, a controversial law, which has yet to be adopted, would actually make it easier for animal abusers to continue killings.
