More than half of visually impaired people feel unsafe on the road

Today, eight out of ten visually impaired people go on public roads every day, or almost every day. In 2013 that was ten percent less.

Step is the culprit

73 percent of the respondents use public transport, just over half are satisfied with it. Tocht still 55 percent do not feel safe on public roads, and the most common obstacle is the scooter.
