More than a quarter (28 percent) of lateral entrants in the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years were no longer active in education the school year after their entry. This is evident today from figures collected by CD&V MP Loes Vandromme from the Education Department. She drew up an action plan to support lateral entrants.
