Young people’s interest in the military service year exceeds expectations. Last month it became clear that the voluntary year of service in the army attracts a large number of candidates. A total of 7,120 young people have registered for the information briefings, Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA) announced on X, the former Twitter. Of these, 6,044 young people attended the information sessions physically in large halls, while the rest participated online.
