Due to a power outage, 2763 customers of Enexis are in parts of Bergen op Zoom, Heerle, Kruisland, Moerstraten, Steenbergen and Wouw on Wednesday afternoon without electricity. The network operator reports that engineers are on the road to resolve the malfunction.
The malfunction was reported around ten past one, writes Enexis. More than 2,700 households spread over around 179 zip codes have been hit and have no power.
Outlet
In addition to many households, Designer Outlet Roosendaal has also been hit by the power outage. Customers who want to shop in the outlet are out of luck, because in the dark that becomes difficult.
“It makes a difference that it happens during the day, because it was very quiet when the power fell out. Our safety people made a round through the outlet and nobody is stuck,” says a spokesperson for the outlet.

“The engineers are on the road, so it is not yet clear what the reason for the malfunction is, but often a transport station has fallen out in such a situation. They are more often disrupted,” says a spokesperson for Enexis. “We always last a time of two hours before it is resolved, but often it is resolved earlier.”
