American John Isner has secured the record for most aces on the ATP Tour.
The 2.08 meter tall giant beat Jannik Sinner from South Tyrol on July 1 in the third round game of the grass classic in Wimbledon for a total of 13,729. Ace and passed the Croatian Ivo Karlovic, who previously held the record, said the professional organization ATP.
Serving giant Isner defeated former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray of Great Britain in the second round and served 36 aces in that game alone. There were 24 against Sinner, but they did not lead to success. Isner lost 4: 6, 6: 7 (4: 7), 3: 6.
