More diseases and lower quality of life by 2040, Sciensano predicts: mainly women affected

By 2040, the burden of disease caused by loss of quality of life will increase by 10 percent. This is what the health institute Sciensano predicts. This increase is due to an increase in the number of diseases from an average of 1 disease per inhabitant in 2021 to 1.3 diseases per inhabitant in 2040.
