New charges have been brought against the actor, comedian and media personality Russell Brand, British media reported.
Brandi is accused of rape and sexual harassment. The charges relate to two different women.
They talk about it, among other things Sky News and the British Broadcasting Corporation BBC.
50-year-old Brandi has already been charged with sexual crimes before. The charges filed in April relate to four women. They are not related to the new charges.
Brand has pleaded not guilty in relation to previous incidents.
The actor is scheduled to appear in court on the additional charges on January 26.
The actual trial is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2026.
Serious allegations were made against Brandi even before charges were brought against him.
The uproar caused by the accusations led, among other things, to an internal investigation and an apology by the BBC. The company apologized to its staff for the way it handled the allegations involving Brandi.
